Multigressiv MyView® the future in optimized lenses

As technology is ever changing, so is the technology of optical lenses. Rodenstock again builds on to the technology of the first aspheric/atoric, back surface lens design to create the Multigressiv MyView^®.

The Multigressiv MyView builds on the MultigressivILT by optimizing patient lenses based on individual measurements, not just standard parameters. By utilizing one of three fitting heights (14mm, 16mm or 18mm) and your patient’s measured monocular PD The Multigressiv MyView^® optimizes your patient’s lenses and does not require any additional measurements, making it the perfect balance between a full individual progressive lens, where the individual parameters have to be measured and a conventional progressive lens where only the prescription power is needed.

Every Multigressiv MyView^® is a unique lens, specifically calculated for each individual patient. With no standardized parameters, there are no ready made or “freezed” designs. Created using an individualized PD gives patients the perfect placement of the intermediate and near zones and large visual fields.

Only Rodenstock can combine wave front optimization with individual customization. Rodenstock’s careful analysis of wave front patterns results in the MyView^® having consistently minimized 1st and 2nd order aberrations over the whole lens surface, creating the highest level of visual acuity. In addition to the 1st and 2nd order aberrations, Rodenstock also considers high order aberrations and factors them in to be able to reduce higher order aberrations like “coma” or “trefoil.”

The Multigressiv MyView^® utilizes the Rodenstock design philosophy known as the “Perfect Balancing Principle.” This principle rejects the “hard” and “soft” designs of conventional progressive lenses and instead uses the best possible design for each individual prescription. With the Rodenstock “Perfect Balancing” concept, your patients will have crisp, clear vision in the near and the intermediate zones.
